Flex Sensor Glove. Code used to run a flex sensor glove using an Arduino controller. Created for Mount Royal Universty's COMP 3012 Robotics course.
Inductive Sensors Capacitive Sensors - Locon Sensor
Because the sensor listens for changes in propagation time as opposed to mere returned signals, it is ideal for the detection of sound-absorbent and deflecting materials such as cotton, foam

ensor is that sound-absorbing objects such as cloths, cotton, wool, carpets, soft rubber, and foam reflect poorly. Therefore, the maximum measurable range is lower for such objects. It can be difficult to detect objects with a large surface undulation because of irregular reflection.
Convert cheap 433Mhz sensors to KaKu/CoCo with an Arduino
/18/2013I just started with Arduino, and started to buy sensors and equipment. So far loving it. (I use a Honeywell sensor and have a small cotton sock around it) It has survived 2 Georgia winters (down to 22 degrees F) and summers (Up to 100+ degrees with 99% humidity) so far.

A Cool Scale - Arduino Project Hub
The flex sensors require a circuit in order for them to be compatible with Arduino. It's a voltage divider: the flex sensors are variable resistors, and when paired with resistors of a static value, a change in resistance (in this case bending the sensor) can be sensed through the change in voltage between the resistors.
